How This All Started
Apartment Homesteader started from a simple observation: most homesteading advice assumes you have a garden, a house, or at least a large balcony. Renters throwing away kitchen scraps, buying plastic-packaged herbs they'll use once, and feeling disconnected from where their food comes from rarely see themselves reflected in that advice.
This blog exists to close that gap — for anyone in a flat with one sunny window and a landlord who doesn't want nails in the walls.
